    Meet Emily

With nearly 20 years in education, including as a Learning and Support Teacher and Coordinator, I've worked alongside schools, teachers and families to support children with diverse needs.

Today, through EmpowerEd, I help parents understand the school system, advocate with confidence and build collaborative partnerships with their child's school.

    My approach isn't about confrontation.

It's about calm, informed and child-centred advocacy that helps everyone work towards the same goal: helping your child thrive.

    FAQs

    Is the workshop really free?

Yes. The workshop is completely free to attend.

    Will there be a recording?

Yes. If you're registered but can't attend live, you'll receive access to the replay for a limited time.

    Can I ask questions?

Absolutely. There will be time for questions at the end of the workshop.

Is this relevant if my child doesn't have a diagnosis?

Yes. Many children need support before a formal diagnosis, and the strategies discussed apply regardless of diagnosis. This is a good reminder that your child doesn’t need a formal diagnosis to receive adjustments at school.
